Obituary

Richard A. Keyes, Jr., 31, of Country Club Blvd., passed away on December 23, 2005 at home.

He leaves his parents, Richard A. and Marilyn (Terrill) Keyes, Sr., a sister, Katie, grandparents Mary Terrill and Edward Terrill and Carmella Keyes, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Richard was born in Worcester, and graduated from South High School in 1996. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church, and was an altar boy for many years. He was a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout for 22 years. He loved bowling, Legos, video games, and collecting matchbox cars. Richard worked at the Mercy Center at the St. Francis Home, where he volunteered his time to the Meals on Wheels program. He was also a volunteer for Why Me and Sherry’s House.

Calling hours for Richard will be held on Wednesday, December 28th from 5-8 PM in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 29th at 10:00 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Why Me and Sherry’s House, 1152 Pleasant St., Worcester, MA 01602.
