Hudson, MA
Maria Janeiro, 91, died December 25, 2005 at Marlboro Hospital in Marlboro. She was the wife of the late Manuel Janeiro who died in 1986. Born in Portugal, daughter of Luis and Maria (Estrela) Garcia, she lived in Portugal most of her life moving to Hudson, MA in the late 70’s.
She is survived by her daughter Maria Estrela Rodrigues of Hudson, her sons Jose Luis, David, Daniel, Alvariho and Vicente Janeiro all of Hudson and Afonso and Enrique Janeiro of Providence, RI. She is also survived by her 28 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Evaristo Janeiro and sister of the late Maria D. Garcia. Her funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 Thursday, December 29, 2005 with a funeral mass at 9:00am in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson MA. Calling hours will be Wednesday December 28 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson
