SANFORD- Elizabeth “Beth” Gross age 59 passed away February 1, 2019 at home, comfortably, surrounded by her loving family. Beth was born in Plymouth Mass. on February 3, 1959 to the late Francis Harmon and Carol (Proctor) Hosty. Beth was the loving wife of Ross Gross for 34
years and his best friend for 39 years. She was a loving mother, doting grandmother and a great friend to many. Beth had an amazing gift of creativity she would use while crocheting, drawing and making up personalized stories for her grandchildren, entertaining them for hours. Her creativity really shined when her favorite holidays Christmas and Halloween arrived, for she would go all out with decorations. She is predeceased by her son Frank Corte Jr. who passed suddenly in 2013. She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years Ross Gross of Sanford, her children Angela Corte and her partner Roger Wyman of Sanford, Christopher Gross of Sanford, Lance Gross and his partner Shannon O’neil of Parsonsfield, Jake Gross of Sanford, Peter Gross of Sanford, Chantel Coleman and her husband Anthony Coleman of Sanford; Her brother Tommy Harmon of Lyman, her sisters Valerie Dunham of Nevada, Mary McKenna of Windham, Helene Charette of Belmont, and Paula Roberts of Morrill. Beth was also a proud
grandmother to Mercedes, Dante-Christopher, Caymen, Tayla, Ethan, Lance Nathaniel, K-Lee, Sabrina, Maison and her great granddaughter Isabellah Rose. Beth was well loved by many and will be missed fiercely.
Celebration of life will be held at the Sanford VFW 1 Hutchinson St. Sanford Maine on February 9, 2019 from 3pm-8pm. Everyone is welcome to join us in sharing fond memories and the life of Beth.
