Lena (Oliver) Araujo, 92, of Wareham died June 24, 2002 at Sippican Healthcare Center in Marion. She was the wife of the late John Araujo.
Born in Fairhaven, the daughter of the late Antone and Libana (Correia) Oliver, she lived in Wareham for most of her life.
Mrs. Araujo was formerly employed as a housekeeper in private homes and had also been a screener for the Ocean Spray Cranberry Company.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Roderiques of Marion; 2 nieces, Elizabeth Vieira of Wareham and Lena Britto of Connecticut; 2 nephews, Joseph Vieira of California and Michael Vieira of Wareham; a great-grandnephew, Michael E. Vieira, who was very kind to her in her illness; and many cousins.She was the sister of the late James Oliver, Archie Oliver, John Oliver, and Annette Smith, and aunt of the late Clara Pina.
Her Funeral Services and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford will be private.
