Lance A. LaFreniere, an 8 year resident of Hanover and former 9 year resident of Rockland and formerly of Charlestown passed away suddenly on Monday, January 28, 2019. He was 51 years of age.
Lance was born in Somerville on July 27, 1967, a son of the late Herbert LaFreniere and Barbara (Gearin) LaFreniere. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1984. Lance was working as a Laborer for the M.B.T.A. and was a member of the M.B.T.A. Carmen's Union Local # 589.
Lance is the husband of Karyn (Itri) LaFreniere. He is the devoted father of Kayleigh A. LaFreniere and Jay A. LaFreniere. He is the beloved son of the late Herbert LaFreniere and Barbara (Gearin) LaFreniere. He is the brother of Pati Corcoran and her husband Tim and the late Herbert "Butchie" LaFreniere and Michelle Goroshko. He is the son-in-law of retired Boston Firefighter Tony Itri and the late Donna Itri. He is the brother-in-law of Sheila Litif, Tony Itri and his wife Beth and Chris Itri. He is the dear friend of Brian and Maureen Lee. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Lance's visiting hours on Sunday (Super Bowl Sunday) February 3, 2019 from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His Funeral Service and burial are private.
