Lucia (Ricci) Marulli of Malden died on Sunday, January 27. Born and raised in Caramanico Terme, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Rosina Ricci. Lucia left Italy in 1962, settling first in Canada before coming to the U.S. where she has lived in Malden for 46 years.
Lucia was the beloved wife of Adriano Marulli, and the devoted mother of Paul Marulli and his wife Robin of Saugus, Chris Marulli and his wife Kerry, and Marianna Neville and her husband Michael, all of Malden. She was the loving grandmother of Juliana, Noelle, Christopher and Nicholas Marulli, and Adriana, Micayla and Liana-Rose Neville. Lucia was the dear sister of Elvira Federico and Anna Maria Di Giovanni, both of Canada, and the late Corrado, Aldo, Romeo, Paolino, Gino, and Donato Ricci. She was the dear sister-in-law of the late Mario Marulli and his surviving wife Flora of Stoneham, and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and their families.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, February 1 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, January 31 from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
