Pauline A. (Grispi) Dutra of Somerville died on Saturday, January 26. A longtime Medford resident, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Beatrice (Novello) Grispi. Pauline lived in North Andover for 16 years before her recent move to Somerville. She loved to cook and bake for friends and family, and was a lifelong fan of the Patriots and Red Sox.
Pauline was the beloved wife of the late William J. Dutra, and the devoted mother of the late William J. Dutra Jr., Lisa Mari and her husband Arthur of Haverhill, and Andrea Beland and her husband Normand of Burlington. She was the loving grandmother of Christopher Mari, Nicole and her husband John Checchi, Matthew and Michelle Mari, and Jason and Michael Beland. Pauline was the loving great grandmother of Adriana Checchi, and the dear sister of Rosemarie Fuschetti of Stoneham and her late husband Ronald, Lorraine Hewitt and her husband Charles of Stoneham, and the late Joseph Grispi and his surviving wife Roberta of Medford. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Pauline's family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff of the Visiting Nurses Association of Eastern Massachusetts as well as the Chelsea Jewish Hospice for their dedication and care.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, February 1 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, January 31 from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
