Worcester – Donald E. Gaudette Jr., 63, of Fitchburg, died on Saturday, January 19th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Donna J. Poitras) Gaudette; his two sons, Donald E. Gaudette III and Glen Gaudette; his two step children, Gary Rice and Sheila Crosbie; a brother Charlie Helin Jr.; many grandchildren, to whom he referred to as his kidgets and nephews and nieces.
Don was born in Concord, MA son of the late Donald Gaudette Sr. and Alberta (Lucia) Helin. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Gaudette worked his whole career in the construction industry doing any task that was necessary to complete the job. Don was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, enjoyed bow hunting and a love for collecting rare gemstones.
Funeral services are being held privately. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
