Aldina (Giust) Vicario 87, of Franklin, died peacefully, in her home, surrounded by loved ones, Wednesday Jan. 23, 2019 following a long illness.
Born November 10, 1931 in Fontanafredda, Italy, a daughter of the late Giovanni and Amabile (Ragagnin) Giust. She was a resident of Franklin for over 50 years.
Aldina was raised and educated in Italy and came to the United States in 1947. Aldina worked as a seamstress for the former Anthony Roberts of Milford and retired from Ciba-Corning of Medfield in 1993.
She was a devoted mother and treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Aldina enjoyed going for walks, knitting and loved feeding people at her home.
Aldina was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Franklin and the Sunshine Club.
She is survived by her children, Paul Vicario of Bellingham, Dina Guarino of Wrentham, Lisa Vicario and her husband Tom Childs of Franklin, a brother Lino Giust of Roslindale, a sister, Nives Arena of Lexington and her grandchildren, Michael & Anthony Vicario, Alicia & Julianne Guarino, and Victoria & Bennett Childs.
She was the twin sister of the late Ovidio Giust.
Her funeral service and interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin will be held privately.
