William Daniel “Bill” Dulchinos, age 66, passed away at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family after a courageous 8-month battle against non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma that he was confident he would beat. He was born on March 8, 1952 in Springfield, a son of the late Theodore and Euthemia (Coulopoulos) Dulchinos. William was a lifelong resident of Chicopee. He graduated from Chicopee High School in 1970 and from the Lowell Technological Institute with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering in 1974, where he was also an active member of Sigma Phi Omicron. He helped manage his parent’s restaurant, the Windmill, in West Springfield for 10 years. He then proudly worked as an Executive Sales Representative for Liberty Mutual Insurance for 33 years before he retired in 2018. He was a proud inductee of the Liberty Mutual Sales Hall of Fame. Bill was an active parishioner and member of the parish council of Sts Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Chicopee. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 42 years, Nancy Dulchinos of Chicopee; his Daughter Effie Quimby and her husband Greg of South Hadley; and his son Nicholas Dulchinos and his wife Danielle of Bellingham; 2 brothers, Theodore John “Ted” Dulchinos and his wife Deborah of Fort Meyers, FL and Donald Peter Dulchinos and his wife Carolyn of Boulder, CO. He is also survived by his beloved granddaughter Jacqueline Camille and a grandson on the way by the name of Theodoros William; his grandpups Rocky and Cinnamon, his affectionate nieces and nephews along with his dear friends Nick and Nina Stoddard and David and Donna Billeter. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise` Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM from the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass in Sts Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
