Stavroula Spyropoulos, 89, of Worcester, died Saturday, January 19th at home surrounded by her family. Her husband of 65 years, Dimitrios Spyropoulos died in 2018. She leaves two sons, Spiro Spyropoulos and George Spyropoulos; and a daughter, Joanne Spyropoulos.
She was born in Pikerni, Arcadia, Greece the daughter of Georgios and Alexandra (Theodosopoulos) Karadunis. Stavroula was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She worked as a seamstress and enjoyed spending time gardening.
Her funeral is Friday, January 25th with a service at 11:15 AM in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, January 25th from 10:45 AM until the start of the service.
