Francis Michael "Frank" Munyon Sr. of Medford died on Monday, January 21. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Thomas and Josephine (Mitchell) Munyon.
Frank was the beloved husband and best friend of Eileen (Sutherland) Munyon, and devoted father of Frank Munyon Jr. and wife Christine of Wilmington, Joe Munyon, Stephen Munyon and wife Kim, and Tim Munyon, all of Medford. He was the loving grandfather of Michael, Kaitlyn, Alana, Brenna and Ryan, and the dear brother of Anna McCarthy of Cambridge and her late husband Dennis, Mary Paterna and husband Joseph of Topsfield, the late Thomas and Thelma Munighan, and Joseph Mouringham. Frank is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, January 26 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, January 25, from 3 through 8 PM. Interment will be private.
