William Victor McKechnie 68, a longtime resident of Wolfeboro, NH and Ft Myers, FL formerly of Needham died on Thursday December 22, 2005 at the Hope Hospice House in Ft. Meyers. Born in Cambridge William graduated from Wentworth Institute and went to work and continued the family business Boatex Fiberglass in Natick. He was the President of Boatex and retired when the business was sold. Son of the late Esther and William McKechnie. William is survived by his beloved wife Ellen (Kelly), his three sons Todd and his wife Kathleen of East Hampstead NH, Scott and his wife Susan of Holliston, Brett and his wife Laurie of Wenham and 10 loving granddaughters. A celebration of William’s life will be held on Wed December 28th from 1-2 Pm at the Congregational Church of Needham 1154 Great plain Ave. followed by a gathering for all from 2-5 PM at the Sheraton Needham, 100 Cabot St. Please join us and share memories, mementoes and pictures.
