Mieczyslaw W Lisek of Dorchester, passed away on January 16, 2019 9:16pm at Boston Medical Center at the age of 63.
Born in Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1987. He has held multiple positions, he worked as a truck driver in Poland, deli clerk in DJ’s Market and most recently as a contractor at Artizan General Construction.
Mieczyslaw is survived by his children: Wieslaw R Lisek of Kielce, Poland, Monika N Fox of Rock Hill, SC, Pawel R Lisek of Belchertown and Agnieszka Valenta of Palmer, eight grandchildren: Adam, Vance, Evie, Joshua, Paige, Erik, Mikayla, Alaina and his brother Wieslaw Lisek of Dorchester, sister Stafania Pytlak of Poland, Maria Kulina of Mississauga, Canada and Grazyna Domurat of Indian Orchard. He was predeceased by his sister Aleksandra Zarzeczna and brother Zygmunt Lisek.
Mieczyslaw will be cremated in Casper Funeral Home and his ashes will be buried in Poland alongside his father and mother. Funeral Reception will be held at the Polish American Citizens Club in Dorchester on Sunday January 27, 2019 at 1pm.
