Donna Golomboski, 74, of Cranston RI, passed away on January 15, with her family by her side.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leonora (Amato) Fazzano and Henry Del Sesto. She was also the step-daughter of the late Albert Fazzano. Donna proudly lived on Federal Hill in Providence for a good part of her life. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as “Big Mama” to her great-grandson Jordan. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went.
She worked at Leviton Mfg. and was the former owner of American Soldering in Providence, as she worked in the jewelry industry most of her life until her illness.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Golomboski of Providence & Albert Waldeck of Cranston, her daughter Lisa Cummings of Warwick, her grandchildren Marissa Golomboski, Jillian Cummings, & Tayla Cummings and her great grandson Jordan Esparra. She is predeceased by her brother Clement Dimchowski and sister Beverly Ribeiro.
A Mass of Christian Burial, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held Saturday, January 26 at 9 A.M. at the Cathedral of St Peter and Paul, 30 Fenner St, Providence.
