Vincenzo Ricci, of Medford, passed away on Sunday, January 20th, surrounded by his loving family. He was 96. Born and raised in Sulmona, Italy. He was the son of the late Aurelio and Francesca (Susi) Ricci.
Vincenzo was an expert when it came to gardening. A green thumb came naturally. He was extremely dedicated to his garden, planting vegetables, perennials and annuals, always making sure his garden was at constant bloom and producing veggies.
Vincenzo was the beloved husband of the late Maria D. (DiCenso) Ricci. He was the devoted father of Franco Ricci and his wife Alicia, and the late Enzo Ricci and his surviving spouse Yvonne. He was the loving grandfather of Danielle O'Brien, Damien Ricci and Ernesto Flores.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Saturday, January 26th from 9 to 11 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
