Catherine M. Rogers (O'Connor) passed away surrounded by loving family, as requested, in her home in Brighton MA on January 18, 2019. Loving wife of the late John Rogers. She is survived by daughters Linda Hoerig and husband Paul Hoerig, MaryEllen Mazzola and husband Vito Mazzola, Brenda Rogers and fiancé Chris Nikas, and sons Richard Rogers and wife Diane Rogers, John Rogers III, and Blandy D’Amore, the spouse of Late Cathy D’Amore (daughter). A devoted Grandmother to 17 and Great Grandmother to 16 children, her family continues to grow and her legacy live on.
Born in Brookline, MA on October 12, 1930 to the late Daniel O'Connor and Hildred O'Connor (Gaudette) Catherine was the last surviving of her 7 siblings; Hildred Ward, Pauline Rogers, Frances Heck, Theresa Rezendes, Edwin O'Connor, Daniel O'Connor, and Joseph O'Connor.
Catherine immensely enjoyed her work as a Nutritional Case Manager for Springwell, an aging service area program, well into her 80s. She spent weekends and summers on Newfound Lake, NH where her and Husband John built a beautiful year round second home for the entire family to enjoy for years to come. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and remembered in our hearts always.
