Albert Sawyer, 93, of Woonsocket passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Landmark Medical Center. He was the loving husband of the late Eugenia (Bodnar) Sawyer. They were married on June 30, 1946 and shared over 72 years together until her passing on September 15, 2018 just four months to the day of Albert’s passing.
Mr. Sawyer was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Pacific Theatre during WWII.
He is survived by two daughters Janice Walkow and her husband John of Woonsocket and Donna McCusker and her husband Fred of North Smithfield and one son Albert Sawyer Jr. of Woonsocket.
Funeral arrangements are private and are in care of the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
