GASBARRO, Douglas J. Of Westwood formerly of Dedham, unexpectedly January 16, 2019, age 44. Beloved husband of Christina M. (Stamos) Gasbarro. Devoted father of Mia, Nicholas, and Alexandra Gasbarro. Loving son of James and Marilyn Gasbarro of Dedham. Brother of Michael Gasbarro of Hyde Park, Stephen Gasbarro of Dedham, and John Gasbarro of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Son-in-law of Daniel and Janice Stamos of Cambridge.
Doug was a long time employee of State Street Corporation, Quincy. He was an active volunteer and coach for Westwood youth sports. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anne’s Church, Readville at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home Monday, Jan. 21 from 4-8pm. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
