Mary Glance, 97, of Windham, NH, passed away Tuesday January 15, 2019 surrounded by her loving family in the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. She was born in Windham, on January 15, 1922, a daughter of the late Bronislaw and Jozefa (Michalewicz) Markewich. Mary graduated from Nashua Senior High School class of 1939. She was a supervisor at Sprague Electric in Nashua for over 40 years. Mary loved gardening and taking care of her yard. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends at the Windham Senior Center. Mary also volunteered at the Shepard’s Pantry. She was an avid New England Patriots fan.
She is survived by her three daughters, Linda Glance of Palm Bay, FL, Karen Smith and her husband Karl of Leander, TX, and Cynthia Amato and her husband John of Windham, and one granddaughter, Chelsea Amato of Granger, TX. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Theophil Glance, her sister, Anna Mockler and brother, Alec Markewich.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2:30pm in the Cemetery on the Plain, Ministerial Drive, Windham.
