Rosemary A. O’Donnell (Burge), 78, of Bridgewater, formerly of Whitman and Boston, passed away on January 13, 2019 at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital, Boston, after a brief illness.
Born in Boston in 1940, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose (Santino) Burge of Whitman, formerly of Dorchester, sister of the late James Burge and the loving wife of the late Paul E. O’Donnell.
She leaves behind her son Paul Jr. and wife Cindy of Braintree, formerly of Kingston, mother of the late Karen Driscoll (O’Donnell) of Bridgewater, grandmother of Katelyn, Timothy, and Daniel O’Donnell, Charles and Nicole Driscoll. She leaves behind many dear friends and her two cats, Willow and Charlotte who she loved and adored.
She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed walking, shopping, attending church and lunch with her friends. She enjoyed watching the Patriots games with her family and listening to music.
All are cordially invited to the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, MA on Friday, January 18, for a visitation period from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Saint James Cemetery, Whitman.
