Obituary

CITRO- Of Revere, formerly of Chelsea, December 24th, Michael M. Devoted son of the late Carmine and Michelina (Pomo) Citro. Beloved brother of Romolo Citro and his wife Jennie of Burlington, Rita Tentindo and her husband George, Anthony Citro and his wife Jeanette all of Revere and the late Matthew Citro. Lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Aveneu, CHELSEA on Tuesday morning, December 27th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere Street, Revere at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Monday from 3-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Born and raised in Chelsea, and a resident of Revere for the past 22 years, Michael, age 75, passed away at home after 5 month courageous battle with cancer.

For over 25 years, he worked for the United Sates Postal Service at the South Postal Annex in Boston, retiring in 1992. Michael proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Mottola VFW Post in Revere.
