Boris Sergeevich Smirnov, born October 14, 1930, Ivanovo, Russia, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on January 12, 2019. Devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he maintained his strong spirit and will to help and take care of those around him. Having survived WWII as a child, he saw the best in people, was always looking out for others, and rarely complained. He is survived by his wife of 65 years whom he loved and cherished, his two daughters, sons-in-law, grand-and great-grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces and extended family and friends by all of whom he will be dearly missed. Visitation and a memorial service to be held at Brady Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower Street (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 on Tuesday January 15, 2019 from 1 to 3 pm. Panihida service will start at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
