Christopher Allen Steen, 50, of Ventura, passed away on Saturday January 5, 2019.
Chris was born October 11, 1968 in Oxnard, was a lifelong resident of Ventura County. Chris worked as a construction Carpenter. When he was younger as well as an adult Chris enjoyed playing baseball at Montalvo Little League and also enjoyed playing softball with his friends and cousins. Chris was a very sociable person and enjoyed talking to and being with friends.
Chris is survived by his 11 year old daughter, Bailey Steen; his mother Judith Steen of Ventura; sister Carrie Marie Steen-Ortiz and her husband Armando of Ventura; Brother Scott Joseph Steen and his wife Rebecca of Camarillo; nephews and nieces: Noah Morehead, Cody Morehead, Parker Steen and Payton Steen, and Bailey's mother, Morning Star Langdon.
Chris adored his daughter Bailey and he treasured the time that he got to spend with her. They rode bikes a lot and would often go to beach and the park.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 East Main Street, Ventura.
