Diane M. Dello Iacono passed away peacefully at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington on Wednesday. She was 54. Raised in Medford, Diane graduated from Medford High School. She worked for several years as a teller at the Winchester Co-Operative Bank. Once she met and married her husband Al, she settled to raise their family. She helped her husband operate their business Andi’s Ice Cream and J and A Foods. Later, she worked part time at the Savings Bank in Wakefield. Diane was a lovely person, who enjoyed being with people. A devoted wife and mother, she loved being with her family and friends. Diane looked forward to summers at the beach and spending time at her summer home at Wells Beach. Diane loved reading, going out with family and her many friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
The beloved wife of Alberico Dello Iacono, she was the devoted and loving mother of Andrea and Alexa Dello Iacono both of Stoneham. The cherished daughter of Katherine (McFeeley) Herrett and the late Gilbert Herrett, she was a dear sister to Kathy Boudreau and her husband Dave of Littleton, Rosemary Wadland of Stoneham, and Jeanne D’Andrea and her husband Chuck of Reading. She was a loving aunt to Nicole D’Andrea and the late Joshua Wetherbee.
Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Sunday from 4 thru 8 PM and again on Monday morning, January 14th, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 AM. Interment will follow.
