Age 96 ~ Born Aug. 15, 1922 in Pcim, Poland. Passed away January 6, 2019. Preceded in death by wife Catherine & daughters Mary & Irene. Survived by Casimir (Kathy), Henry (Claudia), Helen (David) Piehowski, Bernadette Wald, & Monica (Gary) Santella; 14 grandchildren; & 21 great grandchildren. Mike and Catherine immigrated from Poland and arrived in the United States on March 24, 1949 on the SS Marine Tiger through the port of Boston. They received their US citizenships in 1955, settled in St. Paul and raised their family. Mike worked as a mail handler for the railroad, as well as, a custodian and boiler engineer for both Blessed Sacrament and Saint Casimir parishes. Visitation Friday (1/11) 4:30-8:00 PM with Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, and Saturday (1/12) one hour prior to Mass at CHURCH OF ST. CASIMIR.
