Mrs. Beverly A. (Potter) Harrington, 79, of Methuen, passed away at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility surrounded by family and friends. The daughter of the late Wallace and Elizabeth (Cooper) Potter she was born in Lawrence on August 16th 1939. Mrs. Harrington had been an area resident all her life. She worked at Hickory Hill Golf Course in Methuen, Modicon Corporation in Andover and was a member of St. Monica Parish. She was known to all around her in her later years as “HY”, Mrs. Harrington loved to play bingo, go to Foxwoods, and was never afraid to jump in her car and go on road trips. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family. The widow of Mitchell Harrington, she is also pre-deceased by her brother; William and his wife Hazel Potter, and her two brothers-in-law; George Yeaton and Paul Griffin. Mrs. Harrington is survived by two daughters; Darlene and her husband John Hartford of Manchester, NH, Maurene and her husband Alan Pepin of Pelham, NH, two sons; Timothy Harrington and his wife Maria of Exeter, NH, Kevin Harrington and his wife Cecile of Florida. Two sisters; Joyce Yeaton and Phyllis Griffin both of Clearwater, FL and one brother; Phillip Potter and his wife Laura Joan of Gilford, NH. There are ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Nevins for your love and compassionate care.
