JoAnn Webb Newell, 75, of Ashburn passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
JoAnn was born on June 18, 1943 in Ben Hill County to the late J. T. and Melva Magnolia Williams Webb. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony (Sheila) Newell of Ashburn and Bryan (Sarah) Newell of Cordele; brothers, Rev. Carlton (Jeanell) Webb of Ashburn, Ronald (Joyce) Webb of Sylvester, Bernon Webb of Sylvester and Herman Webb of Cordele; sisters, Patricia (Larry) Taylor of Sycamore and Darline (Wallace) Owens of Leesburg; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Newell.
Funeral services will be announced at a later time.
