Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother
TEWKSBURY: Cheryl A. (Mulcahy) Wilkinson, age 69, a resident of Tewksbury for over 50 years, passed away at the Life Care Center of the Merrimack Valley on Saturday, January 5, 2019.
She was the beloved wife of William J. “Bill” Wilkinson, with whom she celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on October 1, 2018.
Born in Stoneham on March 5, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Ralph J. Mulcahy and the late Frances E. (Worden) Mulcahy.
Cheryl was raised in North Reading, and attended North Reading schools.
In her early years, she worked for Analog Devices Company in Wilmington.
Prior to her illness, she enjoyed spending time at Wells Beach in Maine, and “Up Steve’s” on Ayer’s Lake in Barrington, NH.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her five children, William J. Wilkinson, III and his wife Sherri of Goffstown, NH, Wayne R. Wilkinson of Groton, Brian A. Wilkinson of Goffstown, NH, Brenda F. Devlin and her husband David of Tewksbury, and Jeffrey K. Wilkinson and his wife Amanda of Dallas, GA; her siblings, Diane Hensley of Concord, NH, Ralph Mulcahy of Duluth, GA, Kevin Mulcahy of Concord, NH and Robin Clark and her husband Stan of Jupiter, FL; fifteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Thursday, Jan. 10, from 4-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, immediately followed by a prayer services to be held at the funeral home.
