Obituary

Catherine F. (Moynihan) Stauber, 79, of Franklin, died peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Raymond H. Stauber since 1956.

Born in Boston on February 22, 1939, she was the daughter of the late James and Julia (Long) Moynihan.

Mrs. Stauber was a resident of Franklin for the past 57 years.

She grew up in Jamaica Plain, graduated from the former Cardinal Cushing High School in South Boston and attended the former Burdett College.

Before her retirement, Mrs. Stauber worked as an office manager in Boston for many years.

She enjoyed knitting and was an avid reader.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Sheila Adiletto and her husband Michael of Franklin, Thomas Stauber and his wife Patrice of San Jose, California and Lisa Stauber and her significant other Greg Carter of Ashland.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alex and Olivia Adiletto, both of Franklin, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Kyle and Michael Stauber, all of San Jose and Greggie Carter of Ashland.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street in Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Wednesday, January 9 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Franklin at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 -7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 SE 1st St., Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
