Obituary

WORCESTER____ Paul F. Barry, Sr., 84, of Worcester died peacefully, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in his home with his family and friends at his side. He is survived by his wife and best friend of thirty-one years, Patricia A. (Richmond) Barry. He leaves behind four children: Paul F. Barry, Jr. and his wife, Sarah, of Worcester; Theresa Rogacz and her husband, Charles, of Worcester; Anthony Barry and his wife, Sharon, of Grafton; Lisa Masciarelli of Northborough; and a stepson, Matthew Talbot, of Riverside, CA. He also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother, Albert Barry Jr., of Worcester. He is predeceased by his first wife of twenty-five years and close friend throughout their lives, Patricia (Ravelli) Barry-Mooney; brother, Robert Barry; and sister, Ellen Barry. He was born in Shrewsbury, son of the late Albert and Katherine (Trainor) Barry.

Mr. Barry worked as a custodian at the City of Worcester Airport prior to his retirement. He previously worked for Acme Plastics and Ricciardi Construction. For many years he was self-employed, operating P.F. Barry & Sons Trucking Company. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. He shared with his community a life-long passion for coaching baseball in the Jack Barry Little League, a deep-rooted happiness, and a memorable smile.
