WORCESTER___David J. Kamyck, 72, of Worcester died on January 2, 2019 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus.
He leaves his children, David M. Kamyck of Auburn; Michael P. Kamyck and his wife Michelle of Auburn; and Jennifer A. Russell and her husband, Anthony of West Tisbury; nine grandchildren, Skylar, Kayley, Gabriella, Aleksander, Alexis, Nicholas, Anthony, Ruby and Sean, a brother, Henry E. Kamyck of Worcester; a sister, Maryann Donie of Melrose and four nieces. David was predeceased by his former wife and friend Jeanne Kamyck. He was born in Worcester, a son of the late Henry and Anna (Walsh) Kamyck and has lived here for all of his life.
David was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the 25th Infantry Division.
Mr. Kamyck worked several years for the Massachusetts Dept. of Transportation, Highway Division.
The funeral service with Military Honors for David will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 6:00 PM in HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street. Calling hours will be held before the service from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Monday January 7, 2019 in the funeral home. Burial in St. John’s Cemetery will be private.
