Jared E. Almeida, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2019. Jared was born in Fall River, he was the son of Eric Almeida (fiance Lisa Texeira) and Lorna Marion.
Along with his parents he is survived by his siblings Keaton and Alyssa Costa and Jayden Texeira; maternal grandparents, Martin & Cheryl Marion and Al Monroe; paternal grandparents, the late Edward and Inez Almeida; aunts and uncles, Edward Rego (wife Dawn), Sandra Monis (husband Richard), Michael Rego, the late Michelle Rego Minville, Gregory Rego (wife Mary), Manuel Rego, and Jessica Borges (husband Justin); as well as several cousins.
Jared will forever be remembered by all whose lives he touched. He loved with all he had and filled the room with great conversation, positive vibes, and laughter.
Jared was a graduating member of BMC Durfee High School, class of 2010. He developed a passion for cooking and worked as a cook at many local restaurants, including Battleship Brewhouse and BK's Tavern. Jared brought light to all and he will be loved and missed, but never forgotten.
His life will be celebrated during calling hours at Manuel Roger's & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main Street, Fall River on Sunday from 2-6 pm with a service at 4 pm. Cremation to follow.
