Obituary

Marjorie L. (Woodward) Wilhelm, 90, of Franklin passed away peacefully on Monday, December 31, 2018 at her home. She was the beloved wife of John C. Wilhelm, IV who died in 2013.

Born in Franklin on September 22, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Frances (Ross) Woodward.

Mrs. Wilhelm was a resident of Franklin for most of her life and after retirement, enjoyed summering in Mashpee and wintering in Sarasota, Florida.

She graduated from Franklin High School, earned her degree in Respiratory Therapy and worked as a respiratory therapist at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick for 15 years until her retirement.

Mrs. Wilhelm liked gardening, entertaining and had a great sense of humor. She was a member of the Red Hats in Sarasota.

She is survived by her children, John C. Wilhelm, V and his wife Clare of The Villages, Florida, Cindy Lavallee and her husband Roger of Uxbridge and Eric Wilhelm of Franklin.

She is also survived by her sister Carolyn Formalarie of Mashpee, her six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Eleanor Bigham, Phyllis Bolduc and Marion Gilstad.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, January 5 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street in Franklin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Union Street Cemetery in Franklin.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
