Kathleen A. (Donohue) MaDan, age 73, of Brockton, died peacefully, December 31, 2018, following a period of failing health. Kathy was the loving wife for 45 years of Emery F. “Frankie” MaDan. Born and raised in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Bernard G. and Catherine M. (Conway) Donohue. She was a 1964 graduate of Brockton High School and at the time of her retirement, had been employed as a Sales Clerk for Chadwick’s. Kathy was a loving sister, aunt and loyal friend. She had a lifelong love of animals which included riding horses in her youth and always having a pet dog and cat. She was also an avid reader and loved the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox teams.
Kathy was the sister of Mary Donohue of Brockton, Bernard J. Donohue, Jr. of Barrington, RI, Sheila Heagney of Bridgewater and Paul Donohue of Brockton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday, January 4, 2-5pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Saturday at 8am for a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
