Aurea E. (Tolson) Jackson,68, of 17 Wm.Casey Rd., died Wednesday,
Dec. 21 at her home.
She leaves her husband of 50 years John J. Jackson, a son Donald J. Jackson
(Karen) of Ware, a daughter Vicki A. and her husband Samuel E. Swain, Jr. of
Ware, two grand children Emily M. McNally and Nicholas S. Swain both of
Ware, a brother Ronald Tolson of Southampton, nieces and nephews. She is
predeceased by brothers Wayne and Clarence Tolson, Jr.
Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of Clarence Tolson, Sr. and Lena
(Marcotte) Tolson.
At onetime, Mrs. Jackson was a banker at the former Ludlow Savings in
Ludlow and Third National Bank in Palmer. She enjoyed travel, gardening and
her winter residence in Naples, Fla.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 23 at 10 a.m. in the J.HENRI
MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in
Center Cemetery, Southampton. Calling hours are Thursday, Dec. 22 from 4 to
7p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to UMASS Memorial
