SO. HIRAM- Cheryl Darlene Gilpatrick, age 70, passed away at her home on Dec. 29, 2018, with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Portland on Aug. 11, 1948, a daughter of the late John and Mildred (Garland) Black and was a 1967 graduate of Bonny Eagle High School.
Cheryl will always be remembered for the enjoyment she had making jewelry, painting, four wheeling, going to camp, visiting Amish country in Pennsylvania, and most importantly – being with family and dear friends.
Besides her parents, Cheryl is predeceased by a sister- Lorraine Felix.
She is survived by her beloved husband- Richard Gilpatrick Sr.; children- Crystal Anderson and her husband Tom of West Baldwin, and Richard Gilpatrick Jr. and his wife Linda of Raymond; siblings- Gloria Miller of Gorham, Loretta Settel of Parsonsfield, Carolyn Davis of Standish, Bill Black of Limington, and John Black of Limington; grandchildren- Keith Anderson and his wife Amanda of Cornish, Kaylee Gilpatrick of Minot, Ericca Gilpatrick of Auburn, Jayden Gilpatrick of Raymond; and great grandchildren- Colton, Layden and Lyrik.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday Jan. 4 from 3 – 5 PM, followed by a 5 PM service at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St., Cornish. Online condolence messages can be submitted at www.mainefuneral.com
