Reginald F. Northover of Dover New Hampshire, a former 50 year resident of Needham died on Monday, December 19 at Langdon Place in Dover NH. He was 96 years old. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Mr. Northover was a U.S. Army Disabled Veteran of World War II. He was a greeting card salesman for area greeting card companies including Paramount Greeting Cards INC and was the former owner of the Granite Card Shop in Quincy. Mr. Northover was a member of the D.A.V., the Lt. Manson H. Carter Post VFW Post 2498 in Needham, the Dedham Elks and the Needham Retired Men’s Club. The beloved husband for 65 years of Alice (Monson), he was the father of Ronald F. of Hampstead NH, George A. of Madbury NH and Carol A. Purdy of Dallas TX. Brother of the late James, Allan and Roy. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer Purdy, Robert F. Northover and Rebecca Purdy. Services and Interment are private.
