Carol K. McAllister, 82, died Friday December 28, 2018 in her home in Londonderry, NH. Daughter of the late Donald and Eleanor (Griffin) Kerrigan, she was born in Boston, MA on June 6, 1936, grew up in Wellesley, MA and was a resident of Londonderry for the past eight years, formerly of Westborough, MA, and Newton, MA where she retired as a Vice President of Pioneer Financial Bank. She leaves many friends and was an active member of the Harvest Village Community where she lived. Carol maintained her connection with friends from Sacred Heart Church in Newton and St. Luke's in Westborough. She was a current member of St. Mark the Evangelist Church in Londonderry.
She is survived by two sons, Paul McAllister and his fiancé Dianna L. Perry of Bellingham, MA, and Patrick McAllister of Ireland and Washington, DC; two daughters, Jane Schirch and her husband Alan of Londonderry, NH, and Mary Collier and her husband Brian of Fallbrook, CA. Devoted grandmother to six grandchildren, Stephen and Mitchell Schirch, Elizabeth and Rachel Collier, and Ellis and Cedar Cox-McAllister; as well as many dear nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband James P. McAllister and her brother, Donald Dyer.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 from 3 - 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30am in St. Mark the Evangelist Church, One South Road, Londonderry. The burial followed in St. Patrick Cemetery, 180 Pond Street, Natick, MA.
