Laura L. Verallis

Chicopee – Laura L. (Cambigue) Verallis, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 26, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 23, 1970 in Chicopee. She was the only daughter of Rodney and Arleen (Usher) Cambigue of Chicopee. Laura worked as a dispatch manager for Courier Express Inc., for 20 years, finding her second family in the process. She loved to attend concerts, go to casinos and auto races, and generally spend time with friends and family, especially her daughter, with whom she was inseparable. Laura loved weekend getaways and going on long drives. She is predeceased by her husband Nicholas Verallis who passed away in 2014. She is survived by her parents, her daughter Samantha Mainville of Chicopee and also by her best friends Heather Hubbard and her son Tyler of Chicopee, Kristen Schoonover and her son Garrett and daughter Grace of Chicopee, Lisa Hubbard and her sons Nolan and Logan, and daughter Morgyn of Springfield, and her “second daughter” Bridgette Reiss of Newton. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday,January 2, 2019 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
