Darlene Coxwell, 60, of Havana, Florida, died Thursday, December 27, 2018, at her mother’s residence in Ocilla.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Coxwell was born September 6, 1958, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Carol Nell Peacock Lindsey and the late Billy Joe Adams, Sr. She was a homemaker and loved plants and horticulture. She enjoyed the beach, particularly Cape San Blas, and loved animals. Mrs. Coxwell was an avid supporter of the ASPCA and the Humane Society.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Zadok Coxwell of Havana, Florida; children: Caronell Marie Zatoris & husband Michael of Tallahassee, Florida and Gage Daniels Coxwell of Havana, Florida; grandchildren: Leon Zatoris and Samantha Zatoris; her mother, Carol Peacock Lindsey of Ocilla; sisters and brothers: Jody Adams of Ocilla, Carol Hoffman of Tallahassee, Florida, Billy Joe Adams of Alaska, and Jimmy Carl Adams & wife Loraine of Colorado. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Raymond Lindsey; and a brother, David Adams.
