Jean B. Bianchetto, 81 of Hanson, Mass., passed away peacefully on December 27, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 8, 1937 daughter of the late Peter Bianchetto and Linda (Drago) Bianchetto. Preceded in death were her brother’s Ernest Bianchetto, Albert Bianchetto and sister, Elena (Bianchetto) Pedranti.
Jean leaves behind her sister, Marie J. Grace of East Bridgewater, 14 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews and 24 great-great nieces and nephews.
Jean was a two time breast cancer survivor and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and being an avid Red Sox fan enjoyed attending numerous games each season.
Her services will be held Wednesday January 2 at 10:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte.58 @ the rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, Hanson. Burial will follow in the Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday January 1 from 3:00-6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jean’s name to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
