Mary L. “Tootsie” Delfino 88, of Franklin, died peacefully, Wednesday December 26, 2018 at the home of, Richard P. and his wife Christine Delfino of Franklin, following a brief illness.
Born September 8, 1930 in Franklin, a daughter of the late Nicola and Marietta (Mancini) Delfino, she was a lifelong Franklin resident.
She was raised and educated in Franklin, and was a graduate of Franklin High School. For over 40 years “Tootsie” worked as a bookkeeper for the former Mandell & Mandell Accountants in Franklin.
She enjoyed spending time with her large extended family, traveling and a good dinner at her favorite restaurant, the Wayside Inn, Sudbury.
Mary is survived by numerous, nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family members.
She was the sister of the late Ercole Delfino, Mario Delfino, Vienna Fornaro, Romeo Delfino, Julia Perri, John Delfino, Domenick Delfino, Alfred “Chick” Delfino, William “Ziggy” Delfino, Angelo Delfino and Charles Delfino, Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Thursday January 3rd, at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Sq. Franklin at 10AM.
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
