Obituary



Harold A. Bradford, of Burlington formerly of Medford passed away following a short illness, Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, 2018. He was 85 years of age. "Brad", as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, was the beloved husband for 61 years of Bonnie H. (Kinch) Bradford. Born in Medford he was the son of the late Archibauld and Ella (Wolfe) Bradford.

Brad was raised and educated in Medford and was a 1952 graduate of the Medford Vocation Technical High School. Following High School he enlisted in the United States Army and honorably served during the Korean War. He retired from the United States Army as a Reservist in 1993 following a 40 year career of faithful and dedicated service to his country. Brad enjoyed golfing and always looked forward to his next vacation with family and friends in Aruba which was one of his favorite destinations. He loved the sun and working outdoors around his home always keeping his pool in pristine condition. However, his greatest joy was his family and nothing made him happier than to be surrounded by those he loved.

In addition to his beloved wife Bonnie, He is survived by his children; Pam Scribner of Woburn and her late husband Tom, Michael Bradford and his wife Michelle of Billerica, Susan Judson and her husband John of Billerica and Jill Spinale of Andover. He was the loving grandfather to nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is sadly predeceased by his five siblings, and is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Monday, December 31st, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the McLaughlin Dello Russo Funeral Home will be held on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. Services will conclude with military honors and burial at Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Brad's memory to The Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
