Loretta “Red” (DiPaolo) Lombardi, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on December 24, 2018. She was 94 years old.
Loretta was the daughter of the late Frank and Marietta (Mancini) DiPaolo. She was the beloved mother of Debra O’Connell and her husband James of Lynnfield. Loretta was the sister of the late Theresa Malerba, John “Buddy” DiPaolo, Frank DiPaolo Jr., and Nicholas DiPaolo. She was the cherished grandmother of Lauren Hurton and her husband Tim, Meghan O’Connell, Steven O’Connell and his wife Christina, and Lindsay O’Connell, and great grandmother of Olivia, Madison, Caroline, and Caleb O’Connell.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Loretta’s life at Saint Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut Street, Lynnfield on Monday December 31st at 10:30am. A visitation period will be held at the church from 9:00am-10:15am prior to the mass. Interment of ashes will be private.
