Obituary

Ronald A. "Chippy" Lauzon, 78 died December 25, 2018 peacefully surrounded by his family after a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Conrad "Jim" Lauzon and Eileen M. (Casey) Marion, he lived in new Bedford all of his life.
He was formerly employed as a union carpenter and later worked at Tremblay Bus Company.
Mr. Lauzon served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. McGowen (DD 678) and the U.S.S. John Paul Jones (DD 932).
He was a member of the Panthers Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Freetown Memorial Post 6643.
Survivors include his 2 daughters, Suzanne White and her fiancé Tim O'Brien, and their children Derek O'Brien and Collin O'Brien and Pauline Richard, and her children, Stephanie Wolfe and her husband Greg, Seth Richard and Noah Richard; a brother, Wayne Lauzon and his wife Debra of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews,
He was the brother of the late Paul Lauzon and Lionel "Butch" Lauzon.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8 PM. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
