Londonderry, NH - Dennis MacLaren, age 44, a former resident of Tewksbury, died unexpectedly
Monday evening, Dec. 19, at his Londonderry home from an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Derry, NH, March 18, 1961, a son of Donald F. MacLaren of Chelmsford and the
late Beatrice (Mercer) MacLaren, who died in May 2005. He was raised in Tewksbury and
graduated Tewksbury Memorial High School with the Class of 1979. He had also lived in Lowell
before moving to Londonderry five years ago.
He served in the U.S. Army following graduation from high school.
He was employed as a driver for B.F.I. based in Tyngsboro.
He was described by his family as have a lifelong love of fishing, bowling, golf, spending time
with his family, but most of all, playing his guitar.
He is survived by a son, Adam of Townsend; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald W. and
Linda (Kirkland) MacLaren of Tewksbury, Douglas L. and Gisele (Boucher) MacLaren of
Dracut, Daren and Ellen (Herlihy) MacLaren of Londonderry, NH; a sister and brother-in-law,
Bonnie and Michael Capuano of Tewksbury; eight nieces and nephews, Donald, Jennifer,
Jonathan, Renee, and Kayla MacLaren, Michael, Kimberly, and Kerry Capuano; and a lifelong
friend, Marc Champagne of Lowell.
His Funeral Service was held Friday, Dec. 23 in the funeral home. Burial was at Tewksbury Cemetery.
