On Friday December 21, 2018, Linda Anne Sironi, loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully at the age of 68 in her home in Hanson, MA.
Linda was born on November 8th, 1950 in Toronto to Alexander Nisbet and Rita (Stapley) Foster. She moved to the United States at the age of 9, settling in Massachusetts.
On May 16th, 1982, she married Stephen Sironi. They raised a son Jeff in Hanson, MA. Her family and friends meant the world to her. Her community was more than a living space for her -- it was a home.
Linda had a passion for traveling and for helping people. She combined these interests and worked as a tour director for many years. She enjoyed sharing stories from the road as she took groups all over the country and abroad. Her sense of humor, good sense of style (eclectic and unique), were beloved by family and friends alike.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Alex and her mother Rita. She is survived by her husband Steve, her son Jeff, her half-sisters Abbie and Linda and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27th in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
