Lorraine T. Lamontagne, 74, of Glencliff, NH and formerly of Berlin, NH passed away on Saturday Dec. 22, 2018 at the Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH. She was born in Sherbrooke, P.Q. Canada on Jan. 28, 1944 the daughter of Joseph and Leande (Hachez) Garneau and moved to Berlin, NH as a child. She had lived for a time in Groveton and Island Pond, VT and then back to Canada, where she resided with her grandparents for a time before returning to Berlin where she lived for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed at Converse Rubber Company. Lorraine had resided in both the Coos County Nursing Home and St. Vincent de Paul Home before moving to the Glencliff Home for the Elderly in Glencliff, NH where she has lived for the past ten years. She was well liked and had a sense of humor.
Members of the family include her daughter Elaine Davidson and her husband Scott of Monmouth, ME; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and her brother Raymond Garneau of Fountain Valley, CA. She was predeceased by two sons Alan Garneau and Danny Lamontagne.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday January 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow in the St. Kieran Cemetery.
