FALL RIVER… Roma R. (Proulx) Dupont, 89, of Fall River passed away December 21, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
She was the widow of Arthur A. Dupont.
Born in Warren, RI, she was a daughter of the late Arthur G. and Olivette (Chabot) Proulx.
Mrs. Dupont was a communicant of the former St. Bernadette Church and had worked in the cafeteria at Diman Reg. Voc. Tech. High School for 20 years until her retirement in 1991. She had graduated from St. Mary’s Academy Bayview in East Providence in 1946. A member of the Niagra Senior Citizens of Fall River, she had also volunteered for 20 years at the Senior Citizens Flint Club in Fall River. She enjoyed playing Bingo, Pocket Poker and cards.
Survivors include her daughters: Diane Pinel and her husband Alfred of Fall River and Dinese Bott and her husband Ervin of Bradenton, FL; her grandchildren: Alan Pinel, Richard Pinel, Bryan Bott Brandon Bott and Blaine Bott; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Proulx.
